The making of jilbab and khimar Mouhajiroun
The first step in makingthe jilbab or khimar Mouhajiroun is the choice of fabric, it must above all be opaque while being light, flexibleand wrinkle-free. after many test with several egyptian, chinese, moroccan, tunisian...none really satisfied us 100%, so we decided to have a fabric made with precise specifications such as weight, dyieng, colors, raw material wich will be woven in machines...wich will be specially designed for all for the product of Mouhajiroun brand, such as abayas, hijab, jilbeb 1 pice, jilbab 2 pices, niqab...
we opted for wool peach (korean) / caviary fabric which we named the royal king Mouhajiroun.
The second step is the design of the models and patterns of islamic clothing, wich will bring optimal comfort to all our sisters fillaih.
For this, we have invested in a small garment factory located in the tunisian cap-bon, we have hired qualified seamstresses, a model maker, two production line control managers, 3 cutting and packaging workers... and thus have a total control over Mouhajiroun products.
Before each release of new models such as the pointed khimar, the double veil khimar, or the rounded khimar, we do several tries and test on different mannequins so that these are neither too heavy, too short or tight, easy to wear and which does not hinder the daily movements of the body.
Once the product is selected we proceed to the design of the final pattern and the cutting of the fabric with all its gradations if there are several size like most of our jilbab or hijab.
Finally we start the entry of the model into the production chain on the machines, where each worker has a specific position, and at each stage of preparation we have assigned a specialized worker who is responsible for controlling the seams, offsets, sizes... or any defaults that may occur on the machines.
The next step the product leaves the machines and goes into the control zone, with the technical sheet of the model, it is inspected from every angle, then it leaves for ironig.
The last step after the clothes have been ironed they are sent to the finishing area or a final general check is made before packing them.
